Carl's Wing Walking for Anorexia
Donation protected
On September 24, I will be in Leeds, UK wing walking to raise money for the National Eating Disorders Association. What is wing walking? They harness you to the top of a Stearns Bi-plane and you go soaring into the heavens at 130 mph. Not in the cockpit. Outside the plane. Why am I doing this? Well, at the age of 62, I am finally heavy enough to not be blown away. You see, I am a recovering anorexic. I weighed 88 lbs when I graduated college, now I am 114. Tiny as I am, that is 30% heavier! I am one of the lucky ones. Anorexia is one of the most difficult diseases to overcome. And for men, it is even harder as everyone assumes that it is a disease that only affects adolescent girls. So please grab a donut and your checkbook and support me in this adventure!
