Care Packs for Australian Soldiers

I saw a post that touched me, the offer to send care packages to our defence personal that won't be able to come home for Christmas.  Australia Post will post packages for free if under 2kg, got me thinking that this would be a great project. I have organised with the help of my sons school Waverley Public School to do a drive for toiletries and goodies that could be sent. 
We are holding an afternoon of Christmas cheer on Dec 6th  with the students and parents to put the care packages together and to include letters and art work to bring some Aussie warmth to these heros. 

I was told we could include a self postage envelope so that the soldiers can send a letter back if they wish. 

My goal is to make 100 boxes, to add this post paid envelope though it will cost $3 per envelope for it to return from the Middle East. The boxes cost $1.83 each.  This is the money i am hoping to raise. Any spare money will be used to buy more needed toiletries, socks and goodies. 

If you could spare the cost of one stamp I would be so grateful, I think  the kids would love to receive a letter back saying they received the package. 

I am so looking forward to this project, I know my son is so very excited.
