Dog Park Fencing
The Canton MO Parks Board has finalized a plan for a true dog park in the City Park at Brose and Wyaconda Avenues that has been approved by the Board of Aldermen. The dog park will include separate areas for large and small dogs. We know a City dog park is truly desired by many of our residents. Its location means it will also be easily accessible for travelers to and through our area. The proper bidding process has taken place and black vinyl coated fencing will be installed. The problem is available Parks funds aren't enough to cover the cost of the fencing. The Tourism Commission is providing additional funds for the project, but it's still not enough to cover the cost. We're asking for your help by March 31st to close the funding gap. Any amount will help and every contribution will go to this project alone. Your support will mean the dog park can be a reality in Canton. Our pet friends will be so happy and their gratitude will be matched by ours!+ Read More
