My name is Diane, I am a mural artist who has a wonderful opportunity to paint a mural for my son's elementary school. I've been dreaming about creating something like this for a few years, but knew the money for supplies would be hard to come by. The Magnet Program volunteers (aka P.A.C.E.) are already hard pressed to pay for the normal enrichment programs they are used to providing: Art, Music, Dance and Special Field Trips. I did not want to strain their budget further just for a mural.
The money will be used to purchase supplies only: Paint, Brushes etc. My time is volunteered! Any money we raise that is NOT used for supplies will go directly to P.A.C.E. to help pay for the enrichment classes for the Magnet Program.
I would like to start as soon as possible, and look forward to creating something that will add beauty to the school and community.
