The Give Five campaign for January is Cancel Out Cancer. Prior to January 31st, please consider giving $5.00 to support these girls and to inspire other kids to be kind in our community.
The Cancel Out Cancer Foundation (C.O.C) is a Kansas non-profit organization that hopes to help stop cancer and soothe the pain of families that have been affected by cancer. They are donating 33% of the money they raise to the Pediatric Cancer Foundation and 33% to families who have been affected by cancer or going through the process of being affected by it. The remaining 33% of the money they raise will be used for future fundraising activities and to help get their organization off the ground.
The girls are trying to do their part to help out the cancer community. About 43 kids a day in the U.S. get diagnosed with cancer. Cancer is the leading cause of children passing away by disease. So, whether it's by helping families get through a family member getting cancer, donating to cancer research organizations, or just volunteering at a hospital making kids with cancer more comfy, you can do your part to Cancel Out Cancer!
