Help Save a Child's Life
Friends, would you help me raise money to care for an orphaned child in Arusha, Tanzania?
Canaan Children's Center is an orphanage run by the Catholic Archdiocese of Arusha. It is currently home to 39 children who have been orphaned by AIDS. Some of them were born with AIDS themselves.
You should hear the stories of what these children have suffered--neglect, abandonment, abuse, hunger, and worse. Without Canaan, they would still be on the streets, or dead.
Instead, at Canaan Children's Center, they have a home and a family, nourishing food, shelter, clothing, and education. They also receive counselling, as many have had traumatic experiences, and medical care. Most importantly, they get lots of love.
We have the chance to rescue one more child and give them a future full of hope! It costs USD $1920 ($2500 Canadian) to provide food, clothing, school uniforms, health care, and housing for one child for a whole year.
I would love to be able send them this money by the end of August.

PS: Canaan is not a registered charity in any country other than Tanzania yet, so they can't issue tax receipts. We're working on it!
