Camp International Peru Expedition

Hi, my name is Ethan, I am 17 years old and I currently study at Plymstock School in Plymouth. During the summer of 2018, I have been given the fantastic opportunity to travel to Peru where I will work closely with rural communities and people who often have to live on less than £1 a day. My goal is to raise £4000 to allow me to travel to this wonderful country where I can help people in these communities build a better life for themselves and their families.
While out in Peru I will have the opportunity to make mud bricks which are then used by us to create schools, hospitals and homes as well as teach people about the importance of eating healthy and what they should grow in order to do this. This experience will greatly aid the communities I work with and help me as a person develop. Mother Teresa once said, "I alone cannot change the world, but I can cast a stone across the waters to create many ripples". For me, this really is a once in a lifetime opportunity and would mean the world to me to be given this chance to make such a significant change in the world.
