We are a group of students from California Maritime Academy traveling to Europe this summer for our International Experience (IE) trip. When researching the countries that we will be visiting, we learned of the refugee crisis in Greece and were inspired to help with existing efforts.

Sea of Solidarity was founded in November 2015 by volunteers who experienced the humanitarian crisis unfolding: multitudes of refugees arriving in rubber dinghies in Lesvos, Greece. A 501c3 nonprofit, SoS is committed to addressing the needs at landing sites and now, at refugee camps. We need your help to continue this vital work.
