Africa Unearthed Volunteer 2017

My name is Caitlyn and I am an eighteen-year old Pre Health student at Georgian College, originally born and raised in Kingston, who is passionate in making a difference in the world, and aiding those who cannot help themselves.

I am beyond thankful for being accepted and to be able to travel to South Africa this coming June/July on a volunteer trip. On this trip, I will build classrooms, teach young children English and sanitation, implement hygiene,  and aid in animal conservation, while learning and living the culture.

Every dollar that I raise will go towards:
‣ Air fare and transportation in the S.A/Swaziland
‣ Meals and some snacks for myself, as well as food for families
‣ Funds for a variety of resources, such as construction and teaching resources, animal conservation, etc...
