Rebuild Abulrahman's Farm in Gaza

Donation protected
As some of you already know, I have family and friends in Gaza who I have kept in touch with for several years now, especially since Israel's war on the Palestinians in Gaza during 2014. It was a devastating time and the situation is not getting better for most of the Palestinians in Gaza, since then. I have been actively working on getting small projects funded in Gaza in order to help families who need it the most and to bring forward projects that can also benefit the community.  This is one project that I hope you will be able to support in anyway you can. We can't rebuild Gaza, but we can help build HOPE.

Abdulrahman
used to work as a construction laborer and builder in Gaza, before 2006. He suffered serious physical problems in his back and shoulders so he could do nothing that required serious physical work anymore. As an alternative way to make money he decided to use the small piece of land he owned to grow vegetables which allowed him a small paycheck to carry on living.

Soon after he bought two goats and some chickens which gave him extra money and his life started to get better. Unfortunately, his small farm was destroyed by Israel in 2014. Since then, he has nothing to support his family, and his sons cannot find work. What he needs now is some money to rebuild his farm, buy some chickens, plants, seeds, and to dig a well. He would also need to purchase a generator since electricity is scarce, it would be used to warm up the allocated area for the chickens and the rabbits.

Abdulrahman’s family consists of his wife, four daughters, and five sons.  One of his sons is married with two children and two of his daughters are married as well. Last year one of his married daughters was divorced but she now lives with her family again, bringing with her two sons. Two of Abdulrahman’s sons are undergraduate students in Al-Azhar university.  Abdulrahman's family responsibilities are a burden where the siege and war has taken away most opportunities to sustain the basic needs of a family.

Abdulrahman's farm will be the only one in Nuseirat,

Gaza and will provide his neighbors with fresh and cheaper vegetables, eggs, and chickens instead of the expensive and poor quality imports ONLY allowed from Israel. His farm will also provide work for local villagers. It would help jump start part of the local economy in the area.

Once Abdulrahman rebuilds his farm and begins to generate a profit, he plans on paying forward the money he gets from gofundme to help another family in Gaza get back on their feet.

This money is needed prior to the spring, in order to get the farm producing and ready for the planting season.

Please help Abdulrahman
, you would not only be helping one family but a whole community. Thank you kindly for your generosity, remember every penny counts and so does every minute.

Help Abdulrahman and other Palestinians in Gaza, at least be able to enjoy a self-sustaining project to benefit the whole community.
