On Nov. 13th 2016 My son and I where driving southbound on Old US Highway 27 S a drunk driver was also driving south behind us. Info has come in as to what has happened since but this is what I know.  I heard a loud screech out of no where and less then two seconds later the truck hit my rear-end launching my Durango to the right and immediately sending it into a roll. As this happened my son screamed, "Mamma help, what's happening?"  All I could do was tell him, " it's ok baby just hold on. I love you, just hold on."  He is 10 and autistic. When we finally came to a stop it was a hard abrupt stop. MicahJames screamed, "Mama help me I'm stuck." As we are on our side and he is on top being held up by his seat belt. I told him to, "stop, stay still, don't move", and he did. I wiggled my toes and tried my fingers realized I couldn't move my left shoulder or put pressure on that arm. Felt for blood. I took my seatbelt off. I got up and went to him, looked at his eyes, face, asked " what hurt" asked if his"head or neck hurt,"  he said" just his tummy." I told him I was going to hold him but he undid his seatbelt and I grabbed him with my right arm as he did. As We did this are first hero/Angel came in the back window. MicahJames stayed calm as he did so, amazing he was my champ. He is my little survivor. He unbuckled his bunny. I told the gentleman his name, he has epilepsy, and is autistic don't leave him alone. I reached over turned the car off and literally collapsed my legs gave out on me. I couldn't deal really after that. I knew my baby was ok and I didn't understand what had happened and why. I looked for my phone because it has our medical info in it. Which thankfully, as this gentleman was patient with me, trying to help me up.  I couldn't put pressure on my one arm and was unsteady, sure enough I had just got a message from the person I was supposed to meet up with asking where we where cause obviously we hadn't arrived.  God had that planned so I could find my phone. They got me out and from there things now are starting to get blurry. My mind is having a hard time dealing and processing with all I have heard and found out and seen in last 48 hrs. I will be posting pictures. Info, updates, and stuff as they happen on a support page on facebook. There obviously will be a court case later as the guy was drunk and fled the scene. If anyone was there or drove by, saw anything, took any pictures please, please, contact me or the police.

Unfortunately due to totaling my car , we are out a vechile,  and even with full coverage insurance it won't cover the cost of the vechile, or anything towards a replacement.  We really need a vechile for transportation. Especially since my autistic son has a U of M appointment on Dec, 8th. So I have to have the durango paid of and a down payment for a new one by the 1st so all the loan paperwork and all can get done in time.

We where able to get financed for a new Durango which we are greatful but that came with $500 deposit I have to get paid threw out December some how.  Thankfully my son understands how tight things are. We have decided not to put anything up for Christmas. I thankfully have two small gifts I had previously purchased before the accident so he will have something but it's hard when the things we as humans take for granted daily are tooken away or are ability to do them are gone how much we start appreciating them. I have always been thankful for all I have but now I am even more thankful for every little thing.

I I start physical therapy 3 times a week for 8 wks starting the second week of December that will be an extreme financial burden but I'm putting it in Gods hands. Well that's our up dates for now.

Any help will be greatly appreciated.  God Bless You.
