Team Liam

On Sunday evening my friend's family experienced every parent's nightmare. Their beautiful baby boy slipped and fell into their pool. Extraordinary measures were taken by Hali and Teige, Sarasota county Fire Department and the team at Sarasota Memorial emergency department to get Liam's heart beating again. Liam was stabilized and flown to All Children's Hospital in St. Petersburg. Once at All Children's all measures were taken to see the level of function Liam had. Unfortunately Liam suffered severe brain damage from being without oxygen for an extended period of time. The doctors and nurses continued to run tests and check for brain function over the past 2 days. Today Hali and Teige will say goodbye to their baby boy, he fought a hard fight and the family has been fighting hard for him as well. Prayers and support has been appreciated from all and the family will continue to need those prayers and support going forward. This family is going need time off from work to be with their children and to grieve. They will also need to cover funeral expenses. If you are able to donate any amount to the family at this time, it will be greatly appreciated. Hali and Teige have given their everything to their children and are the most loving parents, my heart is broken for them.
