Service Trip to Ghana

Hi family and friends,
 
One of my dreams in life has always been to travel. A few other Chestnut Hill College students and I were given the amazing opportunity to go on a service learning trip to Ghana! For 2 weeks this summer, I will be helping the people in Ghana by dedicating my time volunteering at schools and rehabilitation centers. 

I am currently a senior at Chestnut Hill College. I am majoring in Psychology and I am minoring in Education. With my interest in working with children, I am excited to meet the international staff and students, volunteer with local communities and explore the history and culture of Ghana while developing my leadership potential. 

Every student from Chestnut Hill going on this trip has to fundraise for their own fees to be able to go on the trip. The fee for this two-week program, including all meals, lodging, travel medical insurance, in-country transportation, and airfare, totally around $2,000. Since I will be in a new environment I will also need vaccinations and medication before arriving in Ghana.

To be able to go on this program it is necessary for me to seek financial assistance, which I hope you can help provide. Any amount would be greatly appreciated.
