Help for Grover Telford

As you know my husband Grover Telford is very ill in Royal Columbian Hospital. He fell ill on October 7th. I brought him to RMH where he was admitted. He was diagnosed with pneumonia and MRSA. He was there for two weeks on antibiotics and he was just getting worse. They transferred him to RCH to the cardiac ward as he needs to have a heart valve replaced. Five days ago he went into heart failure and they transferred him to cardiac ICU.  The MRSA has attacked his heart with such varasity that the cardiac surgeon had no choice except to do emergency heart surgery 4 days ago. The surgeon gave Grover a 50/50 chance of making it through the surgery and a high risk of brain damage due to the two brain bleeds he had suffered to the series of small strokes from the MRSA attaking his heart.  He made it through surgery and no brain damage. His left leg is not functioning and I don’t know the long term prognosis of that yet.  He is still very ill with MRSA. I don’t know when he will be home and I don’t know if he will be able to walk yet.  Grover lost his first wife to cancer in 2002 and he had to keep working. He is the hardest working man I have ever met and he would give the shirt off his back to anyone.  He will need  my full time help to get better.  The last two years have been hard financially as the work truck kept breaking down and what money he had saved went into the truck so he could have an income.  He is self employed, has no savings, no short term or long term disability.  He has to be able to get through the next 4 to 6 months financially.  My goal is to get my husband better. I would  be grateful for any amount that you feel you can afford.
