Butterfly Queens Youth Leadership Academy was designed to empower high potential girls of color, as they transform into 21st Century leaders who will learn to spread their wings, flying boldly and gracefully throughout their communities, using their voices, presence, and essence to make a positive difference locally and beyond.Your financial support will assist with: Curriculum Materials, Academy T-Shirts, Camp Retreat Getaway Fees, Recognition Items, Transportation Costs, Technology Devices and direct costs related to expand the program's capacity to promote leadership and positive changes locally and beyond.
Seeking Financial Supporters Who:
* Thinks it's awesome to "walk your talk" and take action, by making a single or ongoing financial contribution towards life long positive changes for high potential girls of color in Oakland, CA.
Note- girls representative of all races & cultures are welcomed to join.
* Understand and agree that legitimately run start up programs like this don't always have all finding in n place, therefore we truly need a "village" to begin operating towards maximum potential, while carrying out our mission and goals.
* Maybe you're no longer a local, or never were a resident, but you have a heart for Oakland youth, and happy to do what you can to help with the Summer 2015 Launch Campaign.
