Want to join me in making a difference? We are raising money for THE BEN COHEN STANDUP FOUNDATION. Research shows that in the U.K. more than half of 11 to 16 year olds experiencing bullying about the way they look; with 40% of these found to be targeted at least once a week. As well as this, research has found that more than half (53%) of young people who experienced bullying based on their appearance said they had become anxious as a result and 29% had become depressed. One in 10 said they had had suicidal thoughts and 9% that they had self-harmed. Due to this, we feel that it is imperative that awareness is raised. As beauty influencers/enthusiasts with a big social media presence, we have our run in with online trolls, but as well as this a number of us have been victims of bullying in our lifetimes. Due to this we have decided to use our skills and platforms to raise awareness of this issue by running a #BEAUTYAGAINSTBULLYING campaign week. From 21st January until 27th January a number of us will be going live at different times and others will be posting makeup looks on Instagram and Facebook highlighting issues and aspects of bulling. We will also be running giveaways alongside the lives. We decided to set up this gofundme to raise money for The Ben Cohen Foundation.
