When he was just 2 years old my son met the hippo at the SF Zoo and has never been the same.
He has celebrated every single bday since his 3rd with this hippo and every year instead of gifts for him, he asks for money to give to his hippo. He has proudly adopted the hippo and refers to him as his son. He has a lofty dream to one day build a new enclosure and fund a whole pod of hippos at the zoo, but in the meantime he wants to raise $1000 to help with his hippo's care. A hippo eats 88lbs of food a day!! And this hippo loves sweet corn and watermelon. We know that with all the crazy in the world it seems silly to donate money to a hippo but, he loves him and you would help foster a dream and hopefully a future philanthropist. Thanks.
