Help my Grandfather get his head stone!

I need your help! My grandfather was born 154 years ago and died on December 22, 1935. He was a distinguished member of his community, but it is very hard to locate his gravesite at Ocean View Cemetery, Warrenton, Oregon. He needs a more prominent monument for those who seek the history of our state and of our local area in Clatsop County,  Oregon.

Buchanan was the lyricist of "Oregon, My Oregon". In 1920, Oregon held a state-wide contest to select  the State Song. The entry of Buchanan and musician Henry B. Murtaugh won the contest over 200 other entries. In February 1927, by unamimous vote, Oregon's Senate Joint Resolution No. 3 designated "Oregon, My Oregon" as the official state song. On February 14, 2017, the song became 90 years old.

We need to make it easy to locate the resting place of this man who gave so much of his life in service for his fellow Oregonians. History Matters!

The Fund currently has received almost $4,000 toward the cost of $8,728 for a two-sided granite stone.
Let's make this tribute  a reality !

As the sole granddaughter of Judge Buchanan, I have the task of funding the two-sided granite stone for his gravesite. He is a distinguished figure in Oregon's history, whose claim to fame needs a boost - hence the memorial stone! History Matters!

Whenever possible, my Maternal Grandfather "Buck" Buchanan always wore a rose bud in his lapel when he walked to work. People in those days did a lot of walking. He had no car, so no driver's license! How different in today's world!
Please consider giving a donation for his two-sided granite memorial stone, so I can often place a rosebud at his monument. Then everyone will be able to find his grave....
