Hey Everybody, My name is Brooklyn Grey, some of you know me from my drag performing days as Pixie before I started transitioning. I am currently an freelance columnist and writer. I've volunteered for an LGBT program in New York called New Alternatives in the past.
I need your help getting out of an emergency. My friend and I are on the verge of homelessness.
What started as a simple relocation back home has turned into a dire situation.
After spending the last few years dealing with a pest problem (Roaches, Bedbugs, Spiders..etc!)
and it not getting resolved, my friend and I were in the process of relocating.
Our landlord only give us a portion of what we gave him upon move in and has painted us financially into a corner.
We have saved a big chunk of the money required to relocate but, between travel expenses and otherwise, we are in need of help.
The money raised will be used for a small portion of the rent and security deposit, securing us permenant housing.
Michael and I both have PTSD and depression due to a past stint of homelessness. Neither of us would make it if we had to endure it again.
We need your help to prevent this situation.
Any help provided will be greatly appreciated and we will both be enormously grateful even if it's just a $5.00 to $10.00.
