Hi. We're the Coffmans - Andrew & Niki, and our three pups: Sam, Gracie, and Mary Todd Lincoln. After two years of unsuccessfully trying to have a baby, we've embarked on the adventure of domestic adoption.
We are so excited to grow our family, and absolutely cannot wait to have a baby with whom we can share our adventures. And we're thrilled that adoption will give us that chance.
It's pretty weird to be writing our friends and family, asking you to help us pay to bring home a baby. After all, we wouldn't have asked you to chip in on medical bills if I'd gotten pregnant. But insurance covers most of pregnancy, and one can arrange, in a manageable
fashion, to handle what isn't covered.
Not so with adoption. The day we get the call that there's a baby who'll become the littlest Coffman, we have to be ready to wire the adoption costs to the adoption agency. And let me tell you, adoption is EXPENSIVE. So, here we are.
We can't begin to adequately express our deep appreciation your help in bringing our baby home. We know you'll share in our boundless joy as our family expands, but we also believe you should get something in return for your generosity. So we've come up with some 'rewards' at varying donation levels, which you'll receive as thanks for your gift.
We can't thank you enough for your support. We can't wait for Baby Coffman to know you!

*You don't actually get to name the baby. We will name the baby. (Or really, Andrew has already picked out our baby names.) But you can pick a bonus name that is in no way official but still is bestowed on Baby Coffman as a recognition of your gift to bring him/her home. And we promise to use the name you choose when we're sternly calling out our child's full name when he/she is in trouble.
