We want to bring our boy home!
We are the Weems family, and we are adopting a little boy from China!
Steven (Daddy), Abbey (Mama) Luke, Emma Grace, Lauren, Troy, Adalynn....and soon to be Joshua!
Joshua has congenital achondroplasia (dwarfism) and is absolutely precious!
We know God has led us to an international adoption, and we also know that it is EXPENSIVE!
We are doing lots of fundraisers to raise money, but we are also pleading for the support of our friends, family, and community.
Lots of people have a heart for adoption, whether domestic or international, but are unable to adopt themselves.
Here is how you can help make a very real difference in the life of a special needs little boy in in China.
The overall cost of our adoption in $34,000. This cost includes our stateside costs (Immigration paperwork, passports, etc), agency fees, fees to the Chinese goverment, as well as all of our travel costs.
The US offers a tax credit of $13,000...leaving the amount of $21,000 for us to raise. We have already raised half of that amount through fundraisers. We have applied for grants and scholarships as well.
We are asking for your help to bring home our boy home as soon as we can, without having to deal with the roadblock of missing funds.
