Bring Zoubi to the Sea

Hello friends,

Let's fly Zoubi home for some island love and healing.  

Our little Zoubi is killin' it in Toronto, following her musical hearts desire. But Toronto is a long ways away.

The Victoria arts community just got hit hard this week. 

Along with many folks in the Victoria arts and queer community, my dear friend Zoubi is dealing with the loss of one of her best friends. 
Vic Horvath was a Victoria musical badass and golden hearted soul,who I wouldn't dare try to sum up in one short paragraph. Suddenly and tragically  Vic passed away this past weekend.
Zoubi and Vic were super tight. 
It is unimaginable and the whole community is shaken. 

Zoubi is having a hard time processing at such a distance.
I asked Zoubi how I can help her and what she needs.
She just wants to come home and be with her people.

Zoubi hopes to play a show with Zoubi and the Sea  while she is back, in memory of Vic.
Any funders will be invited to go to the show as guests. Details will be added as we have more info on this/if she can make it home!
