Bring Nanci's Children Home

After years of pursuing an international adoption, Nanci Pecker has weathered highs and lows. At long last, she just got word—an adoption from Bulgaria has been finalized. Nanci is now the legal mother of siblings Adelina (10) and Adrian (12), who have spent much of their lives in foster care. They are so excited to finally have a permanent home and family!

It will take a village to see this adoption to the finish line. Please help support Nanci as she quickly makes her home ready for the children before they arrive. This request is like a delayed baby shower—only Nanci has about 3 weeks instead of 9 months to get ready. Of course there won't be any need for diapers, high chairs, strollers, infant seats, etc. But Nanci needs support with last minute airfare for three to bring the kids here from Bulgaria—a whopping $5,000 each!

And Adrian and Adelina will need the basics: clothes and shoes, school supplies, bedding, toys and books. Nanci will need to pay for activities that encourage positive bonding time and help them get settled and make new friends. We know these costs add up (I’ve estimated $3,000 bare minimum), and Nanci will have to pay for them right away.

Nanci has always been there to support her family and friends from all walks of life. This is an important time to reciprocate.  Please let's help Nanci, Adrian and Adelina cross the finish line (and the ocean) into their new life together.
