Bring Play Therapy to Haiti

What will you be doing?
I plan on doing whatever God calls me to do. In Haiti that can mean A LOT of different things.
Generally, I will be providing mental health services, specifically play therapy, teaching staff how to use play therapy techniques, educating on trauma and trauma-informed care and helping to reduce secondary trauma for care workers.
SNOW TRAY( RATHER THAN SAND!) WORK IN HAITI!
We are in the development of a not-for-profit company called The Play Bridge which will provide microloans to locals in Haiti to design and build natural play therapy toys that will be sold in the United States. For each unit sold in the United States, we will donate an additional unit to missionaries around the world and provide simple instructions for laypeople to help children use their natural language of play to heal trauma. The Play Bridge is in the development stage and more time in Haiti will enable me to meet the right people at the right time to see this vision through. We need a lot of support to get this off the ground but the foundation of the business has already started in the US!

How can I help?
1. First of all: pray, pray, pray! Pray for God’s will, grace, and protection and whatever else He puts on your heart regarding this trip, One Accord Counseling, Play Bridge and everyone involved.
2. Share! Please share the link and story as often as you can!
3. Donate if you feel called. All money will go to support expenses for the trip, supplies and development of The Play Bridge.
4. In a few days I will open up an Amazon Wish List for needed play therapy supplies.
5. Take a class! CG Yoga and One Accord Counseling will partner on some AMAZING fundraising to combine mental health and mindfulnes
