Bring Back the Spur City Pool

The City of Spur swimming pool was closed 8 years ago due to the need for repairs that were not financially feasible for our small community. Years of drought meant that the water supply was at a critically low level, also contributing to the pool closure. Several small projects have been attempted without much success. The City of Spur makes monthly payments into a swimming pool fund but its ability to fundraise is very limited. City leaders have recently called for the formation of a committee of volunteers who can lead the project to raise funds to repair the existing pool or build a new one. Contributions made by supporters is essential to the success of this endeavor. For those of you who know and love Spur, Texas, please help us to make this project a reality and give whatever amount you can. All funds raised will go directly to the City's pool fund.
