Beds for the Homeless - Birmingham

Hi I'm Kerryanne and I'm  the Founder and CEO of CERT UK.  A charity supporting those in crisis, emergency and or disaster.  We run a pilot project in Birmingham supporting and feeding the homeless called - Homeless Birmingham - CERT UK. This project is coordinated by Kenneth Lowry (founder and Team Leader) and his team of dedicated volunteers. Over the past year we have seen the level of homelessness increase greatly and those who have died due to living on the streets continues to rise. We want to help more than giving food and clothing. We want to be able to give the homeless somewhere to get a shower, a hot drink and a warm bed for the night. As well as helping them to get back on their feet.  To that end we need to raise £150,000 to purchase 2 refurbished double decker buses which each sleep 16, run and maintain them for 2 years.  I'm raising money for COMMUNITY EMERGENCY RESPONSE TEAM LIMITED and any donation will help make an impact.
