Braxton's Handicap Van

Braxton is the sweetest 10 year old boy! He is a 5th grade student at Glenwood Elementary School in Plain Local Township. Braxton was born at 33 weeks and due to complications has lasting effects of Cerebral Palsy and uses a wheelchair and walker to get around. Braxton’s parents have looked into a fully accessible van before but they are extremely expensive and there is not much financial help out there. Currently their van is not handicap accessible. They have to lift Braxton up out of the wheelchair and into their van, as well as lift the wheelchair into the van. Braxton’s family has been given a very generous opportunity to purchase a handicap assessable van. This is something his family has needed for some time.

Braxton’s van will be coming from out of state. The current owners of the van, are friends of mine, and sadly they never got to use it. Between the time when they purchased the van and received the van tragically their son passed away. Though the family is suffering a great loss, they are choosing to generously give another family the opportunity to purchase the van they worked so hard to get for their son.
