My name is Bailey, me and my boyfriend were driving saturday (oct. 11) and came across a man sleeping on a bench in front of the Ontario Works office in bracebridge, we thought that it would be a nice gesture to bring him some warm soup and a coffee, and maybe here his story, we talked to chris for almost 2 hours, and than we had to take off, but at that moment the #getchrisbackup campaigne started.... we wanted to help this man not only because no one else would, but because he is a human, he is somones son, and he has a purpose. Chris came home with us and he strummed his guitar and sang us every tune he knew! he is a sweet man, in his 50's and him living on the streets is very dangerous for his life, for anyones life. we are trying to collect funds to help him get an apartment, or at least some new clothes and some warm food ! chris is a beautiful soul and we want to help him ! he has no identification so even if ontario works were to give him a cheque he will not be able to cash it :( please help us to help chris...
