My name is Ahava, and I am becoming a Bat Mitzvah on April 13th. I am conducting a "Mitzvah Project" in honor of my Bat Mitzvah.
I love to run. Unfortunately, there are still too many kids who do not have appropriate shoes for running. Which is why I have dedicated my Mitzvah Project to help provide running shoes to kids who can't afford them. I have partnered with the Assistance League of Albuquerque to help raise money for this cause. While every donation helps, each pair of new running shoes for a child costs just $18!
My goal is to raise enough money to provide a class of 20 first graders new running shoes for school.
