Welcome to the Borah Music Department Fund hosted by the Borah Band Boosters. We are the parent run organization that supports the multiple award winning Roaring Lions Marching Band and the Symphonic Band. This year we are expanding our scope for a special event and include the fellow multi-award winning choir and orchestra departments.
Every three years, the Borah Music Department travels to the state of Washington to participate in university clinics and college tours. This is a highly anticipated event for every student as they have the opportunity to learn from some of the best music educators in the Pacific Northwest.
The Boosters goal for this year is to help all the music departments offset the cost of the trip for each student. There will be 221 students from the band, orchestra and choir departments going on this trip during April 7-9, 2016. The estimated cost for this trip is over $21,000. We are looking to raise at least $5,000.
