Blundell Family Adoption

Hello, we are Josh and Kayla, we have been married for almost 8 years and we have a wonderful 5 year old son. We are excited to inform you that we are going to begin our international adoption journey to grow our family.

Several years ago, my husband and I felt that that Lord was calling us to adoption and then finally we were able to finalize our adoption through the foster care system with our son on October 5th 2017. We were going to try to adopt again through our state’s foster care system, but have had nothing but heartache, delays, and the realization that the foster care is a broken system.

We still feel that the Lord is calling us to adopt again, but in the direction of adopting internationally now. We are excited to see what the Lord is going to do in the life of our next child and how He will unite our family.

It may surprise you to hear that adoption related costs can easily total up to $30,000 or more. This is why we have set a goal of $20,000 to help ease the financial burden that often overwhelms adoptive parents.

We know that the journey is long, tough, and costly. But our God, the Lord Jesus Christ, is bigger than all of that, and is more than able to carry us through this journey of international adoption to find our future daughter.
