Black Lord of Eagles

Hi everyone,
My project is a novel called Black Lord of Eagles. It's finished and edited, but I want to do a proper book launch, with refreshments and a reading, and plenty of advertising ahead of the day.
The launch is on April 7th. Before then I need to hire the room, contact the local papers and radio stations, and do anything else I can afford - adverts on Facebook, for example. That's where any funds raised will go. Indie books are easy to lose in the crowds. I'm trying to make mine stand out.
Black Lord of Eagles is a Fantasy story about a people called the Ashir, who have always believed they're alone in the world. Then strangers arrive at the border, armed with strange metals and riding strange beasts, and the Ashir are shaken to their bones.
They're still reeling when it becomes obvious that the Thrain have come to conquer. Soon they're forced to rely on one man, Kai, the servant of the Teacher God. Kai has no open power or rank, but he is the proof of the god's enduring love, and the people rally around him in the fight to survive.
I've been a writer since I was a child. It's what I am, part of me, and something I do every day. In a way it's more important now because I'm married and a father, with a second baby due in the summer. I want my kids to be proud of me. I want them to know that if you chase a dream and work very, very hard, it sometimes comes true.
Support for this project could achieve that. It could change our lives, and for that I'd always be grateful.
