Training For My Service Dog

Cerebral Palsy won't stop me from ruling the world! At least not if Mustang can help it - with your help too, of course!

Hello, my name is Yelina Solis and I have Cerebral Palsy. For those of you that don't know the depths of what Cerebral Palsy is, it is a congenital disorder of movement, muscle tone, or posture. In short, it makes day to day tasks a bit more complicated for me and traveling independently unsafe at times. It is all around incurable. But it can be helped.

Mustang is a beautiful rottweiler that is kind and sweet enough to penetrate anyone's heart. He has the ability to help me in my everyday life, indoors as well as outdoors, but before he can, he must have the proper training. This fundraiser is to ensure that I can go about living my life in the most comfortable way possible while having not just a companion but a best friend that will care for me and guide me through the toughest little bits of reality. It will take approximately $30,000: 24,000 goes to the trainer coming to get the dog, the actual training, etc. and the remaining 6,000 is for Mustang's food, his proper grooming and, of course, regular trips to the vet. Don't let this number scare you, anything helps really! This is more than just training for a dog. This is a contribution to my safety, to my independence, to my hope for a peacful and happy life that is as comfortable as possible.
