Hello all. This GoFundMe page has been set up so that Binar sports can continue to assist disadvantaged children, youth and their families.
The target amount is $1 which will guarantee us for the next year that we will continue to :
1. Run weekly homework classes
2. Be a refuge and safe space for children when they need.
3. Coordinate basketball teams on a weekly basis for 22 teams in 4 locations engaging over 100 youth on a weekly basis.
4. Help to transport many of them through community networks.
5. Assist financially for those in need for fees through community networks.
6. Assist our youth to run community events and tournaments like the annual Binar cup basketball tournament, Naidoc events etc.
7. Help our youth through community fundraising achieve their goals to travel overseas and interstate for basketball tournaments and cultural exchanges.
8. Continuing to assist our youth in recieving scholarships into private schools and also into employment.
9. Continuing to empower our youth and give them confidence within themselves to achieve their goals.
Some may say $1 is impossible to do all this but that is $1 more than we have recieved in Government funding for many years of doing this. We can start small and work our way up
