Big Bend Yoga Center Needs Our Help

Dear Friend of Big Bend Yoga Center:
For more than two decades, Big Bend Yoga Center has been a part of my life. It was here that I learned how to breathe and how to be a warrior and a child. I learned how to be strong and how to relax, and how to have compassion for the world and for myself. For these teachings, I am forever grateful.
By now you may have heard that BBC is reaching out to our community financially to be able to remain in the current space for the remainder of the lease... 1 1/2 more years.
The important things that have always made BBC special are wonderful teachers, sacred space, and understanding, love and support for all who walk in the door.
I hope you will join me in making a contribution to help Big Bend Yoga Center remain in their current home. Kitty and Lyn have done many benefits and fundraisers during the past 24 years, but they have never asked for financial help for themselves. So, if you feel that you have benefited from the many services provided by BBC....whether it’s a good workout or summer produce from Kitty’s garden or a piece of original artwork purchased right off the wall or a retreat to Mexico or a weekend yoga experience with a noted teacher....now would be a good time to say “thank you.”
As we have learned at BBC, the word “yoga” literally means “union.” It is my hope that many of us can come together and unite at this time to allow our center to flow through the next year and a half as easily and seamlessly as an asana. BBC continues to be a place where we can continue to center on ourselves, and it will always be the same wonderful, caring community that we have grown to love.
