Help for Alfie

I have set up this page to help my sister and her family as they never ask for the help but desperately need it.. they have a little girl called Amelia and a little boy called Alfie. Alfie has had a hard start to life so far as when he was little he suddenly became poorly and the hospital thought he had meningitis thankfully this wasn’t the case but in being admitted to hospital he contracted mrsa and he’s suffered badly ever since so far he is believed to be deaf in his left ear and blind in his left eye due to the mrsa he also has severe speech problems and has many hospital appointments on a regular basis to have tests ect and will be starting speech therapy.. Alfie’s health visitor believes nursery would hugely benefit Alfie which is why I have set up this page for him as Corey, Alfie’s dad works 6 days a week so Alfie doesn’t qualify for nursery...
due to universal credit payments most of the time being none existent they can nearly afford to live let alone help there son in the way they would like to and I feel Alfie deserves to have the best chance at life especially when all his problems came from something he caught at hospital a place that is supposed to make you better made him so much worse even the smallest of cuts means Alfie has to go to hospital as they get infected more or less streight away.
my sister and Corey have tried to access nursery threw the health visitor but was refused as his eyes and ears are not on the list of the 2-3 disabilities needed to qualify.
for those who don’t know my sisters family where on bbc news this weekend because there situation has been so difficult sometimes not having petrol to get to work  and having to visit food banks as you can imagine this is not a nice situation for them to be in sometimes they can not even afford to get Alfie to his hospital appointments and I really want to ease the stress they are going threw and help Alfie in the best way we can by fund raising to get him in nursery even if it’s one day a week the social interaction with other children will benefit him massively we don’t expect everyone to donate loads but even just one pound each we can hopefully give this beautiful well deserving little boy what he greatly needs and deserves
