We have been on this adoption journey for three years now. It has been a long road, navigating through the legal system in the Philippines, and the process on that side of the ocean is now nearing completion! We are beyond thrilled that Benjamin is finally becoming an Erb!
Benjamin is currently allowed to temporarily travel with our family in the United States on a tourist visa, but in order for him to stay here with us permanently, we need to begin the process of making him a U.S. citizen.
We're working with a knowledgable immigration attorney who can help us through the process. In order to keep Benjamin's visa status current and to avoid having to make some complicated border runs, we need to get the ball rolling on his citizenship applications right away. We need to raise $4,000 in legal fees and almost $2,000 in immigration fees.
A whopping $6,000 in all.
