Just a small town girl with big dreams, who lived on a magical, mythical island....
A graduate from The London School Of Musical Theatre Becky decided to trade the fresh country air for the bright lights and hustle and bustle of London. Having being blessed with a successful career in amateur theatre on the Isle of Man, being cast as lead roles in many productions such as 'Dorothy' in Taylorians production of The Wizard of Oz and 'Kim' in the European Amateur Premier of 'Miss Saigon' she knew it was time to spread her wings. Becky loved being in the 'musical theatre bubble' as musicals was all she had ever known from a young age, however, she was brought up surrounded by a huge array of music from her grandparents and her parents. Not everyone can say they were head banging to ACDC's 'She's Got The Jack' at the age of 3 right? In amongst the sea of incredible music she was exposed to, she found that country music really appealed to her the most. The voices, the story telling, everything about it made her heart sing!
Since moving down to the South West of England, Becky found her own voice and started working on her own music with a platinum selling producer in Bristol and a fantastic sound engineer at Phoenix Studios, resulting in her first EP ' A Child's Tears'. Now she hopes to bring her brand new fresh and exciting sound to you all with her new 4 track EP!
Becky also writes and vlogs for a Female Country music blog called Belles and Gals. As well as gigging with her own music and writing more, Becky can be found playing along side many local bands including Panama & Clyve.
Let's get right to it...
I want to bring YOU, the supporter, the listener, a brand new and exciting British country sound. I want to be the first Manx singer to break into the country music scene but in order to do this, I'm going to need some angels. Music for some people is a place of sanctuary, security and hope and I want my music to do just that. In order for you to listen to my brand new sound, I need a grand total of £1,800. This cost covers the hire of the studio, the musicians and the production and mastering of the 4 track EP. Any amount you have to spare would be amazing! What do you get in return I hear you say? You, the backers and funders, get a front seat to my creative journey! You will get a first hand insight to what goes into producing a pretty epic EP!
Again, anything you have to spare would be a huge step forward for me. I am eternally grateful and blessed.
