This is Braxton Ginter, a handsome, bubbly, energetic 2 year old from Saint Marys, Ohio. His parents are Rick and Alicia (Wagner) Ginter, two hard working parents who love him and big sister Braylee unconditionally. On New Year’s Day while mommy was cuddling Braxton in bed, Alicia noticed that his belly was unusually extended.  After feeling around his tummy they noticed a lumped which concerned them and decided to take him to the doctor.
Unfortunately on January 4th 2019 their lives were changed forever. Braxton was diagnosed with B-cell acute lymphoblastic leukemia (... sel uh-KYOOT LIM-foh-BLAS-tik loo-KEE-mee-uh)An aggressive (fast-growing) type of leukemia (blood cancer) in which too many B-cell lymphoblasts (immature white blood cells) are found in the bone marrow and blood. It is the most common type of acute lymphoblastic leukemia (ALL). Also called B-cell acute lymphocytic leukemia and precursor B-lymphoblastic leukemia (terminology from cancer.gov).
The Ginter family has a long road ahead. There is going to be many days of work missed during Braxton’s treatment and appointments. We all know that just because Braxton is sick the bills and life will continue.  Please help us in anyway you please. There is no amount too small. If you cannot donate a share of this gofund me page is more than enough. From myself, everyone involved, and the Ginter family, I would like to thank everyone in advance for taking the time to read this post.  You can follow Braxton’s story on his Facebook page at https://www.facebook.com/groups/351144118813790/?ref=share
