The Batam Project: Saving Children from a life of slavery
In Batam, Indonesia, many broken homes and poverty stricken families are forced into the human trafficking trade in order to survive.
The intent of this project is to provide education and life skills for the children trapped in this industry in order to assist them with a better life for their future.
The project has built two educational facilities and aims to send trained workers from Sydney to these centres to assist with skill building each year.
The donations from this page will contribute to the maintenance of the current facilities, the future facilities, as well as the instructors we send.
