Barrack Lane Project

Donation protected
As you can see from my pictures the wall in Barrack lane has been transformed and is now ready for the next phase of my project, historical murals. My thanks to eddie tuite of the bull ring, the O.D.S and kevin callan, chair of the tidy town commitee for their financial support and to the transition year students of ST Mary's for the great clean up they carried out in the area of Millmount. The O.D.S financed the hiring of a power washer for me, and when I finished washing the wall I gave it two coats of paint supplied by Murtagh's of the fair green. As I said above the wall is now ready for the murals, depicting the history of Drogheda (and has been for some time) The reason for the delay in painting the murals is unfortunately a lack of funding. So I am appealing to the community spirit and wish to seek your participation in this project and would greatly appreciate any financial support you or your employer could commit to (sponsor a mural) There is room on the wall for about 20-25 murals and if there is anyone reading this who feels they would like to sponsor a mural (or part of) or perhaps ask their employer if they would like to do so, please contact Noel Bailey  or the Old Drogheda Society at Millmount. Thank You.
