Aaron Barks: For His Wife & Family

Donation protected
The Cedar Meadows Subdivision HOA has created this page to help the Barks family in their time of need as they deal with the tremendous loss of their loved one, Aaron Barks.

*Please Note: On Friday, May 5, 2017, the Cedar Meadows HOA turned over management of this page to Heather Barks.*

Never in a million years. It is a phrase we use to assure ourselves that nothing bad like what we see in the news will ever happen to us or a loved one. However, the unthinkable has happened to a family in our community, and a family we know, the Barks family. Aaron Barks, loving husband to Heather, loving son to Patricia “Patty,” and devoted father was killed in a vehicle accident May 3, 2017.

Aaron and Heather were parents to six children. With open hearts they adopted children, and were also foster parents. Over the years, they fostered over 30 kids. Aaron, was only in his thirties, and should have had his whole life ahead of him.

He and Heather have helped so many children in need throughout our community, we hope that our community can in turn help their family who need our love and support right now. Aaron and Heather would have celebrated their 12th wedding anniversary this month. Heather is a stay at home mother to their little ones, their youngest, a baby. They were both active in their church.

Unfortunately, the Barks family has been through tragedy before. Aaron’s father died in a vehicle accident just two years ago. Please consider a donation to Aaron’s wife, Heather. She is the most giving and kind person. Heather volunteers her time as well in the community. Aaron’s mother, Patty, lives with her, and our hope is to show how much we care about them. Any donation is greatly appreciated. Please keep the Barks family in your prayers.

Note: An alternative  way to help is a gift to Aaron and Heather's children for their college fund. Visit any US Bank and consider donating to the "Barks Family Education Fund".
