Baranoff Oak Tree Park

The Baranoff Oak Tree is about 500 years old.  It is named in honor of Dr. Stephen Baranoff, the doctor who owned the Safety Harbor spa more than 60 years ago, and was known for his civic contributions to Safety Harbor.  However, the city does not own the property that the oak tree is located on. 
Andy Zodrow initiated a proposal --to buy the property in order to protect the tree from development.  The purpose of this fund raiser is to help purchase the property, AND to preserve the tree and surrounding land as a PARK for all of the residents and visitors to enjoy it's incredible natural beauty in downtown Safety Harbor.
