To step into 2021, we decided to launch a new fundraising campaign to support the Ban’s project during this challenging period.
The Ban Workshop is an independent pottery workshop based in Dakar, founded by Imann Gaye together with a group of professional potters and social workers. Since our opening in February 2020, we welcomed more than 500 children and adults to discover traditional senegalese pottery making through our program.
The aim of this campaign is to raise 3000 euros to equip the workshop with a pottery wheel and adequate material to create a glazing studio. Being able to glaze our work is crucial for the development of the workshop because it will enable us commercialise our ceramics. This is the last step for the project to become fully sustainable!

Le Ban Workshop est un atelier de poterie indépendant basé à Dakar, il a été fondé par Imann Gaye avec un groupe de potiers et de travailleurs sociaux. Depuis notre ouverture en février 2020, nous avons initié plus de 500 enfants et adultes à la pratique de la poterie traditionnelle à travers notre programme de cours.

Émailler nos fabrications est essentiel pour le développement de notre projet car cela nous permettra d’enfin commercialiser nos céramiques. Cette étape est la dernière pour rendre le projet économiquement pérenne !
