Back To School Shoe Give Away

Everyone has a passion to serve in some way or another. As a strong believer in Ubuntu, I can not succeed as an individual if those around me aren't succeeding. Waymon White has demonstrated his need to serve his community by giving back to his high school, in means of scholarship. Additionally, in the past, he helped arrange for 15 young men from Chicago to experience a weekend at our college (Truman State University) to learn about life outside of Chicago and to experience higher education. However,   we are very hungry. I want and need to do more. I want to create an organization that allows ourselves and others like us to give and help our communities thrive. The organization will help communities like St. Louis and Chicago in areas where they lack support. Those areas range from helping underprivileged youth, the homeless, single guardians, mentorship and more. To start, we will like to purchase 100 tennis/gym shoes to give to middle school students as they begin another school year. We plan to purchase as much on our own, but donations of any size would truly be appreciated so that we can be sure to give out the shoes to our young scholars before they enter the school doors this year. This Organization I'm trying to start is a vision that I  have had  but we are very opened and willing for others to join and support. Whatever you can donate will truly help. Thank you all.
