Back O' Bourke Ride for Cancer 2017

Donation protected
They say home is where the heart is, and that's just the reason professional motocross rider Tye Simmonds and Tony Dunn and Paul Reynolds from Wheeler Cycles want to raise funds for cancer. Affected right in their own back yards, both Tye's Grandmother and Aunty are fighting cancer, Tony's wife Sheri, Paul's wife Christine and several close friends have also fought the battle. So, with the addition of 22 riders, whose lives have also been touched by Cancer, Tye, Tony and Paul will trek their own battle - the Back O' Bourke Ride for Cancer.

Spanning three days, 375kms and three rivers between Dubbo and Bourke, the riders will be raising awareness and monies to fund a room at Macquarie Home Stay.

Macquarie Home Stay will provide affordable accommodation for both patients and families requiring treatment at Dubbo Base Hospital.

Cancer is never easy, but it's certainly harder when you're far from home, so while the riders take on the outback roads they'll be shortening the gap between their loved ones and home, just like Macquarie Home Stay.
