Bachata in the Park (BITP)

The popularity of Salsa In The Park has grown and so has the love of dancing Bachata. We are excited about the possibility to build Bachata In The Park next to Salsa In The Park!
We are coming together to raise funds to cover the expenses of necessary things like a separate mobile dance floor for Bachata and DJ's/sound equipment.
Any and all help from all of dance community and otherwise will be much appreciated.
This will be a  free and popular outdoor summer series for all ages, backgrounds and abilities. Metamovements Latin Dance Company will be coordinating in this effort. Bachata in the Park (BITP) like Salsa In The Park (SITP) will be an innovative community engagement project in partnership with Boston Centers for Youth & Families (BCYF) Blackstone Community Center that transforms public space for public benefit through music, dance and education. A public health initiative, featuring movement as a key to wellness, it draws hundreds of people from all walks of life every summer on Monday evenings
