Baby Beck

Sweet Baby Beck arrived on November 23, 2015. He is an amazing little guy who has already demonstrated such strength. Shortly after birth, doctors discovered that Beck has a congenital heart defect that will require corrective surgery. Surgery will likely be performed on November 30, 2015.  Beck will stay in the hospital until the surgery and will be in the hospital for a couple of weeks following surgery for recovery. He will require long-term follow up with a cardiologist, but his prognosis is excellent, and he can go on to live a normal and healthy life.

Obviously, this news has turned Vicki and Beto’s (aka Juan) world upside-down. Together, they are a strong team and are wonderful parents. We know they will make it through this, with the love and support of each other as well as their family and friends.

Many of you have asked how you can help, and it brings Vicki and Beto much comfort to know they are so well loved. Vicki and Beto will have many unplanned expenses over the next several months. We have set up this page to offer some assistance to them. Whether the money is used for hospital bills, meals, or even Baby Beck’s college fund, it will certainly make a huge difference for this sweet family of four.
