Jen and Peter are a wonderfully caring and humble couple who often give, but do not often ask anything of others. They are always there to support others in any way they can and are quick to put their own needs on the wayside. Through their story full of heartbreak and hope, we as a family have walked with them unable to do much more than hold space for their grief; now, we are stepping in to ask for support for their journey on their behalf. 


Jen and Peter both have held aspirations of being parents. When the two first met, they felt their dreams of having a family had begun. They’ve been on a long, emotionally and financially exhausting journey hoping to get pregnant. For several years now, and through many rounds of fertility treatments, their dreams have been continuously shattered. Jen and Peter have suffered through miscarriages, false hope, failed procedures, and countless unsuccessful fertility treatments. After significant financial strain; second, third, and fourth opinions; and a considerable toll on Jen’s body, they have been told that sustaining a full-term pregnancy and delivering a healthy baby was not in the cards for them. They are now looking to surrogacy in hopes of fulfilling their desire to grow the family they’ve been dreaming of. Unfortunately, this is a very expensive dream. 


If you are in any way familiar with IUI and IVF fertility treatments, you know that they are financially, physically, and emotionally taxing. Surrogacy costs can reach or exceed $100,000 and in Jen and Peter’s case, these costs are not covered by insurance. While the two have found a gracious, selfless heart in a family member willing to act as their surrogate, we would like to help them ease the financial commitment. In addition to starting their family, Peter and Jen have recently embarked on a journey to start and run a new family business which has further financially strapped the couple. We are asking you to not only give financially if you can, but to also send prayers, thoughts, and good intentions for Jen and Peter, as well as their surrogate. Everything given will help cover the costs of surrogacy and all related expenses.
