Josh and Anna want to adopt a baby! But they need our help. It takes a village....
Here’s their story....
The past few years have been rough for us, and not just because of mom and dad’s passing. Josh and I have been trying to get pregnant. When it wasn't happening on our own, we went to seek the help of a fertility specialist. After many different attempts such as counting days to narrow down the perfect timing, prescription pills with many side affects and painful shots in my stomach...the pregnancy tests kept coming back the same. Negative.
Every negative was a new ache in our hearts. So was every pregnancy or birth announcement. We never wanted to take away from anyone else’s happiness but why wasnt it happening for us? Every baby we passed in public left a longing in our hearts reminding us of the emptiness where the love for our own baby should be, breaking down every time we even tried to talk about it. Babies are such a blessing and we believe that God has put this longing in our hearts but not in our bodies so that we will choose to receive his blessing!
“Whoever receives one such child in my name receives me”. Matthew 18:5
So Josh and I have chosen to adopt a baby!
We have already been accepted by Angel Adoption. They specialize in arranging newborn adoptions and only accept a few new families each month. Josh and I will be provided with 2 social workers to assist us through the process. The expecting mother is also provided 2 social workers plus 24 hour assistance. Josh and I will create a profile and it will be shown to matching mothers to be. The mother gets to choose the family for her baby. Once we are chosen, we are encouraged to get to know the mother and stay in touch until the baby is born. When the baby is born and the mother signs the adoption papers, we will get to bring our baby home!

This is where we need help from the village. The cost of many unsuccessful fertility attempts was quite steep and so is the cost of adoption. To proceed further we must pay $18,000. This will cover the costs of not only our needs as adoptive parents but also those of the expecting mother.
